Hello dear listeners! Well, the run up to my album release this Monday has been an intense time. I haven't played my guitar as much as I'd like. Instead I have played the role of an ADMIN DONKEY. The heavy load of admin I have been carrying gets no lighter. I lay down one straw and pick up a bale. (Of emails). Gimme a sugar lump, listeners!

The sun's been shining though, which is rare here in North Wales, so I've been conducting business calls, and taking my breaks outside In The Garden. Which led to a song, originally titled In The Garden. With a verse that goes 'Sydney, wait for me, I'll be there, Sydney, wait for me, save a chair, it's been more than 100 years, Sydney, wait for me, in the copper mines, by the windmill, in the garden...'. It was kind of inspired by Sydney the ginger cat, but subconsciously I drifted to thoughts of Sydney Jones, a long-ago ancestor, she worked in the copper mines, in Parys Mountain. I'm thinking of meeting the ghost of Sydney Jones in the sunshine, in the copper mines, by the windmill. It's not always immediately apparent what songs are about. I was intoxicated by the sun.
